Amy was born to style interiors…something her friends knew before she did. Her ability to rearrange their houses and add the perfect finishing touches to their decor was in such high demand that she could no longer keep up with the requests. Amy knew she had found her calling and began to turn her focus from personal shopping and wardrobe styling to interior design. These days, she works with a long list of clients in Dallas and across the country to create interiors that reflect her modern, crisply tailored aesthetic.
While her adult rooms are the picture of sophisticated style, her favorite projects are the bright, whimsical spaces she creates for her little clients…no doubt inspired by her adorable 4-year old son Hank.
Here’s a little peek into what inspires this stylish mama:
On heavy rotation – I’m a top 40 girl…Lady Gaga…Black Eyed Peas…anything fun that I can dance to!
On your nightstand – “Stories I only tell my Friends” by Rob Lowe, every interior design mag you can think of, a picture of me and my husband and a potted succulent.
Always in your handbag – I always carry my tiny orange Louis Vuitton day timer – I’d be lost without it, makeup bag w/light pink gloss, Tide stain stick, mirror, concealer, sunglasses and a bottle of water.
Go-to outfit – flat front Gap shorts w/Ella Moss t shirts and Lanvin flats or Chloe wedges…and my new favorite perfect nude YSL handbag
No brainer restaurant – I love Mexican food, so Rafa’s, Mi Cocina and Cantina Laredo are always on the rotation. I also love Al Biernat’s, Parigis and the patio at Marquee in Highland Park Village.
