D CEO’s popular Commercial Real Estate Awards program returns to honor the region’s top projects, transactions, dealmakers, and industry leaders driving activity in 2023.
All Commercial Real Estate Awards finalists will be featured in the April 2024 issue of D CEO and be recognized at an exclusive awards event in March. Past honorees include titans of the industry, such as Ross Perot Jr., Craig Hall, Lucy Billingsley, Shawn Todd, Jack Matthews, Herb Weitzman, and Jonas Woods.
The 2023 Deal of the Year was awarded to the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center revitalization that was approved through Proposition A. The $3.5 billion renovation will break ground in 2024 and be completed in 2029. Read more about all of last year’s honorees here.
The 2023 Pioneer Award was presented to Jonas Woods who is turning downtown Dallas office towers into luxury residential and hotels. High-rises he is reimagining include Bryan Tower, Comerica Bank Tower, and Santander Tower. Read more about his rise here.
