Following the launch of Hari Mari’s apparel line in May, the iconic Dallas-based footwear company has launched its first slipper line.

“Our customers have asked for a winter counterpart to our sandals for quite some time now, and we are thrilled to bring a made-in-the Americas slipper to the table,” says co-founder, Lila Stewart. “With all the supply-chain issues everyone is facing, we are thankful and proud that our shearling is sourced in Texas and the products are handcrafted in Mexico.”

For years after launching in 2012, Dallasites Jeremy and Lila Stewartsolely focused on growing their “comfortable” flip flop line, partnering with the likes of Peter Millar and J. Crew. Meeting customer demand, Hari Mari debuted a men’s boot line in 2019 (soon adding a women’s line) and crossed over into apparel back in May when it opened its flagship store on Knox Street.

Now, they have launched the brand’s first slipper collection.

The new slipper line features six styles for men and women—all lined with Texas shearling. The women’s line range from a slip-on to a hand-stitched moccasin booty. The men’s line includes Hacienda and Hacienda LX loafer slippers, featuring a full-grain leather option.

The collection also uses nubuck and full-grain leather from historic Léon, Mexico, making them water-friendly and durable.

In addition to its Knox Street location, the slippers are available online at harimari.com and in retailers such as Neiman Marcus, West Marine, and Orvis.

The new line ranges in price from $120 to $175.
