May 17 marked the third annual D CEO Mergers & Acquisitions Awards, presented in partnership with the Association for Corporate Growth. The program recognized North Texas companies and dealmakers involved in some of the year’s most outstanding business transactions. Sponsored by BNY Mellon, RSM, UMB Bank, Gibson Dunn, and Jones Day, the invite-only cocktail party and awards ceremony was held at The Tower Club downtown. Award-winning deals included AT&T’s acquisition of DirecTV. Gibson Dunn’s Jeff Chapman was named Dealmaker of the Year. Read more about the winning deals here and here. See all finalists here.
