North Texans Leon Bridges and Demi Lovato were among the musicians to pay tribute to Ray Charles in a performance at the White House.

Lovato talked about Charles’ contributions to country music before performing “You Don’t Know Me.” Bridges, wearing a gold “Ray Charles jacket,” did “Lonely Avenue.” Both later joined President Barack Obama, Usher, the Alabama Shakes’ Brittany Howard, and others in a sing-along at the end of the show. This show, the last such performance of Obama’s presidency, will air on PBS Friday night — past editions of “In Performance at the White House” have paid tribute to the music of Motown, Stevie Wonder, Paul McCartney, and others.

But you can watch the full video at your leisure. The show gets started about 1:30:00 in with an introduction from Obama. Lovato performs at 1:43:00, while Bridges takes the stage at about 2:20:30.
