SLIP INN SLIPPED UP

|

Bar fights happen all the time. From what we hear, they’re happening at the Slip Inn with increasing frequency. (This is the second altercation we’ve heard of in as many months.) What makes the latest one different? It happened to a D employee:

Do not go to the Slip Inn unless you plan on horrible guest services and a trip to the E.R. A fight happened to break out on top of the booth my friends and I were sitting at. After jumping over into the next booth I realized I was missing a shoe, had candle wax all in my hair and down my left arm, and to top it off, broken glass had cut into my right arm. The bouncer had no care for what had happened and his only concern was getting me out of the bar. I tried explaining to one of the bar managers what had happened and he felt it more necessary to yell at me than to console me. After they managed to get me out of the bar and lock the door, I realized that the measly band-aid they gave was not working because I still had blood dripping from my arm. To avoid blood dripping all over myself & my car I made one last attempt to get help from the bar. Their solution was to crack open the door, hand me a stack of napkins and tell me I should probably go to the emergency room. Hey, they got me out of the bar, right?

Ouch.
