STORIES OF OUR NAKED CITY

|

Both D and Park Cities People have done pieces on Dallas real estate appraiser turned author, Harry Hunsicker. Wick recommended his debut novel, Still River, so I picked up a copy. I’m happy to report that it’s a really fun read. Hunsicker’s protagonist is Lee Henry Oswald, a witty seen-it-all, done-it-all private eye in Dallas. Yes, the city is a full-fledged character in the book, which features lines like, “I sat down and ordered a single malt scotch old enough to vote.” Hunsicker solicited 117 agents before he hit gold with ICM. He’s now on his first book tour.
