|

Texas Health Resources and Encompass Health have both been named to Fortune’s 100 Best Companies to Work this year. For Texas Health, it is the fifth year in a row the hospital system has been named to the list. Texas Health cracked the top 10 at number nine, while Encompass was ranked 54.

Both companies were also named to Fortune’s best places to work for women this year as well. The publication partners with Great Places to Work to survey 300,000 employees nationwide. They evaluate their confidence in the direction of their company, pride in their jobs, and relationships with co-workers.

“Each and every Texas Health team member helps us reach our strategic goals and national recognitions as an excellent and innovative health system that exemplifies Our Texas Health Promise: Individuals Caring For Individuals, Together,” said Barclay Berdan, Texas Health’s chief executive officer via release. “Consumers can choose any one of our more than 350 locations knowing that a dedicated team is ready to care for them. We are truly grateful to work with such dedicated individuals, who collectively make a positive difference in our workplace and in the communities we are privileged to serve.”

“Being a great place to work is an evolving journey,” said Michelle Kirby, executive vice president and chief people officer, via release. “And our unwavering commitment to listening and making improvements remains stronger than ever.”
