The Joint Commission has granted Medical City Fort Worth a recertification in spine surgery. The hospital received the commission’s Gold Seal of Approval.
The commission was on site in August to review Medical City Fort Worth’s compliance with national disease-specific care standards and requirements for spine surgery. The Gold Seal also takes into account clinical practice guidelines and performance measures.
“The certification provides us with the framework to create a culture of excellence for those in our community,” Medical City Fort Worth CEO Jyric Sims said in a statement.
