There’s not always enough time in the day to skim a lengthy, re-worded press release that’s been stamped with “breaking” or “exclusive.” And some stories don’t warrant an entire page of prose. Each week we’ll gather the most important tidbits of Dallas food news and post them here, on SideDish. Because sometimes all you need is the scoop.

Punch Bowl Social is opening a 12,500-square-foot restaurant and bar in Forth Worth’s West 7th entertainment corridor in December. According to the release:

Historically, Punch Bowl Social properties have encompassed approximately 25,000 square feet, but the new Forth Worth location will be half of that size. While this newest configuration will occupy less space, guests will enjoy the same food and beverage offering, and quality experience from the millennial-centered brand.

Punch Bowl Social Forth Worth will feature a refreshed menu that melds the best of the American diner with a fresh, modern take on Mexican cuisine, designed and curated by James Beard Award-winning Chef Hugh Acheson, an innovative craft beverage program, and an expansive selection of social activities including duck pin bowling, ping-pong, Skeeball, darts, board games, classic video games and more. The brand’s notable design aesthetic — think mountain lodge meets Victorian, industrial, and mid-century modern design themes — will be on full display as well.

Punch Bowl Social first opened in Denver in 2012 and now has locations in 14 cities across the country. Click here to learn more.

Eno’s Pizza Tavern Turns 10: This Bishop Arts restaurant is celebrating a decade of business. They’re throwing a party July 8 through July 15. According to the release:

Prior to the celebrations, customers will have the chance to vote for their favorite “throwback” pizza – one that was formerly featured on the menu – to make a return during Eno’s anniversary week. Voting will take place June 19 through July 4 in-store; voting on Eno’s Facebook and Instagram begins June 18.

Additionally, the Pick Your Pie promotion will allow customers to dream big and make suggestions for a brand new Eno’s pizza. The winning pizza will be announced on Eno’s official anniversary, July 11, and added as a limited-time special as part of Eno’s Rotating Pie program that features seasonally-inspired pizzas.

As a celebration of that commitment to craft beer, the first 100 people at each Eno’s location who order a craft beer on July 11 will receive a commemorative gold leaf pint glass to take home. Throughout the week of July 8 through 15, Eno’s will have live musical performances and give away throwback beer mugs.
