If you haven’t heard of the Ugly Christmas Sweater Shop then you probably hate Christmas. OK. That’s a bit harsh. But Jeremy Turner, owner of the specialty store and more than 10,000 holiday sweaters, has made a bit of a name for himself in Dallas.

In 2013, Turner and his wife launched an online holiday sweater shop. The duo opened a seasonal storefront on Mockingbird Ln. the following year, and have been operational every November and December since.

I came across this video in my Facebook feed this afternoon, it announces that the Ugly Christmas Sweater Shop is expanding to Fort Worth and Frisco.

I reached out to Turner to gather some details.

“Each store will have thousands of sweaters in stock,” Turner says. “And we now do buybacks which will bring in more sweaters, and we rent now as well in addition to purchasing.”

The 5,600-square-foot Frisco shop is located at 3301 Preston Rd., and the 1,000-square-foot space in Fort Worth is located at 3020 W. 7th St.

The Dallas Ugly Sweater Shop opens Nov. 16, Frisco opens Nov. 22, and Fort Worth is TBD since Turner is still hiring for that location. Job perks include milk, cookies, and any Christmas sweater in the shop.
