It was such a pleasure working on a story about the ultra-hip salesgirls of Dallas’ best store floors. What’s so satisfying about talking shop with these girls is their passion for the art of dressing. It’s not so pretentious and stilted as wearing head-to-toe labels with the ladies who lunch. It boils down to a genuine, profusion of love for designers and their craft. These girls know which lines are being innovative, who’s using the most luxurious fabrics, who’s making the perfect denim/blazer/little black dress/etc., and who you should be wearing but you just don’t know about yet. Until you pay them a visit and they’ll bring you in the know.
