Landscaping 101

|

I usually hate February–Valentine’s Day aside, the weather is miserable. Not so today. Sitting at my desk seems almost unfair. I wish I had house with a yard where I could sunbathe without scaring the masses. Anyway, if you have a house with a yard that could use some TLC, our friend Nikki Crain has good news for you. One of North Haven Gardens’ most popular classes, Landscape Design 101, is coming up March 15 & 22. Sound good? Better sign up now because spots go fast. Jump for details.

When: March 15th & 22nd 10:30am-2pm (It’s a 2-day class)
What: Landscape Design 101
Who Tells Us What: Bram Franklin, Landscape Designer with Bonick Landscape, demystifies:
– Site development & drainage
– Concept design/developing your vision
– Hardscape
– Planting plan
– Landscape maintenance & proper plant choices for the best long term growth and beauty.

Supplies that attendees will need to bring are pencils, a straight edge, and a survey of your property along with any pictures of landscape ideas you would like to incorporate into your design. Lunch is provided by Jimmy Johns. Call to sign up or fill out the application and bring it in to NHG. Space is very limited! This is a great class at only $75 Per Person / $70 for Grow Card Members. Visit the events page at www.nhg.com for an application.
