Did you feel that cool breeze this morning? It’s enough to make you check this list of great patios in Dallas and spend an evening dining in fall-ish weather. I could easily toss the motivational song of the week to these chumps, but I will spare you and allow a very young Jim Morrison set your mood.
Last week a dedicated Disher got back in the swing of dining out. They checked out Chef DAT’s “a la carte” menu at Twenty Seven and, despite what D Magazine dining critic Eve-Hill Agnus says, found it to be “the perfect choice.” Instead of committing to entrees or an entire tasting menu, they “shared a selection of small plates” which huitlacoche hummus (“props to whoever discovered that corn smut could be so delicious”), followed by the “buffalo meatloaf sliders, tuna poke and rabbit tostadas.” The meal was “a great choice for early pre-show dining!”
