LASH Alcohol Delivery Service Rolls into Dallas

Another delivery service makes its debut.

Another delivery service is rolling into Dallas. First there was Minibar Delivery, followed by Caviar, and Favor. Now there’s LASH.

LASH offers more than 3,000 types of beer, wine, liquor, and drink mixers and currently delivers to 29 zip codes in Dallas and Collin counties including the cities of Dallas, Plano, Allen, Fairview, South Frisco and South McKinney. The service is available Monday through Saturday from 1 p.m. until 9 p.m. Delivery is free for orders over $35 and costs $5 for all orders under $35.

I guess I understand the appeal of having alcohol delivered occasionally, but nothing beats roaming through the liquor store — especially on free sample day. It’s enjoyable wandering the aisles and peeping what other people have in their baskets, plus if you’re feeling adventurous you might leave with something new.

So, what do you think of all of these delivery services? Are you a fan? Are they a fad, or here to stay?
