Some of Dallas’ best taquerias are gathering at Four Corners Brewing Co. on Thursday, November 6 for a full-fledged taco party. The taquerias are serving “el verdadero sabor (the true taste)” of Mexico with tacos de trompo. Dos Primos Tacos will make their Dallas debut at the event with paprika-based adobo tacos de trompo — pork tacos from northern Mexico. El Tizoncito, El Come Taco and Urban Taco are plating DF-style tacos, which stands for Distrito Federal Mexico (Mexico City). These al pastor tacos are usually marinated with a chile-based and achiote adobo.

“While I’m excited to share the wonders of traditional tacos de trompo from all the taqueros present, I’m especially excited about hosting Dos Primos Tacos at Taco Night,” José Ralat, Taco Trail founder explains. “Anyone who follows Taco Trail via Twitter or Facebook might have noticed image postings of Monterrey-style tacos de trompo, gringas and piratas served out of an Oak Cliff backyard. The joint became my happy place, a place where I didn’t have to think critically about what I was eating. I was just hanging out enjoying incredible tacos. I’ve had to be quiet about the operation’s name, but no longer. Dos Primos and the rest of the lineup will wow the taco-loving pants off of the crowd.”

Tickets cost $25 and get you a taco from each vendor and a twelve-ounce beer to wash it all down with. Not into drinking on a school night? You can choose the $15 taco-only pass. The event starts at 6 p.m., and tickets can be purchased here.
