Texas Burrito Company (TBC) is a new brand from Two Trucks (The Butcher’s Son, Gandolfo’s NY Deli, What’s Da Scoop).  They’ve snuck out on the streets a couple of days and are doing their media launch this evening.  I found them at one of their pre-launch lunch events and tried the sweet pork barbacoa nachos ($6.50), corn on the cob ($2.50), and The Tejas taco ($4.25 each). Alas, I was late and they had sold out of the signature burritos ($7.50).

The Texas Burrito Company is like Torchy’s Tacos and Chipotle combined, elevated to the next level, and served from a food truck.

Although TBC comes from Two Trucks, it will run typical food truck stops, and won’t be out at Klyde Warren Park like the other Two Trucks brands.  Follow TBC through Facebook and TBC Twitter.  It’ll also be on our SideDish weekly schedule starting next week.

Intern Hayley Votolato, who is attending the media launch tonight, will have a more detailed report for you tomorrow. Stay tuned, folks.
