When the sweaters come out of mothballs, that’s when I begin to think picnic. A picnic is a celebration of the splendor and bounty of nature, and it needs a splendid setting like White Rock Lake and a bountiful repast like this one. And, of course, it needs a good caterer. All of these entrees were provided by Calluaud Traiteur, in the Quadrangle, except for the Peking duck, which was prepared by Peking Palace. The appetizers and spirits can be purchased at any fine food and liquor store.
