Host City of 2016 Republican National Convention Could Be Announced This Morning

Organizers could winnow the list down to two from the four cities still in the running: Dallas, Denver, Cleveland, Kansas City. Or they could simply choose one. Will it be Dallas? Unless easily accessible weed is a factor, I like our chances. While we're waiting, here is a snapshot of what happened, at least in one segment of our world, when the 1984 RNC came to town, courtesy of Jeff Liles. UPDATE: As our own Glenn Hunter notes in the comments, Denver's 9NEWS is reporting that it will either be Dallas and Denver, or Dallas will be named outright. The Denver bid is trying to keep pace with Dallas' fund-raising muscle.
