Very little info on this so far, but it seems like a man has shot and killed himself outside of Cross Oaks Elementary School in Denton County. We don’t usually report on suicides, but this one stuck out for one reason: why, why, why kill yourself at an elementary school? There’s selfish, and then there’s selfish to the point of possibly damaging hundreds of children forever.
WFAA is saying that the man killed himself overnight, and his body was found this morning. Classes will continue as scheduled.
