Rick Seaney runs FareCompare.com, a web site that compares airfares (go figure). To prove that last-minute holiday travel can be done on the cheap (when you use his site, anyway), Rick’s sending a staff writer–err, Santa–to all contiguous 48 states in 12 days on 66 flights–all of which were booked less than 14 days ago using online outlets. Rick’s attempting to break the records for the shortest amount of time and money used to make the trip. Keep up with Santa’s travels on his video blog, where he’ll also share travel-booking tips, highlight the biggest travel industry news stories from the past year, and expose the good/bad/ugly of holiday traveling. Godspeed, Santa.
