If TREC has any sense (which they don’t — “Hmmm, let’s endorse three candidates for mayor”), they will dedicate the 10-15 TV monitors throughout the ballroom to the Mavs broadcast and let the few real boxing aficionados congregate at the ring. What will suck is if dinner runs past 9:30pm and/or the live auction interrupts viewing the basketball game. I fully expect both to happen.
