A LOOK AT AREA TRAFFIC WITH REASON

|

A thoughtful FrontBurnervian passes along this link to a post on Reason‘s blog about a tale of two traffic stories. The first is from the Star-T, about the popularity of the public transit–in theory, not actual use–as a means to ease congestion. In contrast, Tony Hartzel at DMN looks at a new proposal for “managed lanes,” which would let drivers pay for the privilege of an open road. Julie Kesselman, the blog entry’s author, comes down on the side of managed lanes and does so with, you know, reason.
