THANKS BUT NO THANKS

|

We really owe a lot to the Dallas Police. And what better way to say thank you to our boys (and girls) in blue than with some cheap Chinese food? Today the Dallas Morning News relayed the message that all uniformed sheriff’s deputies and police officers can get a free meal on Friday at the new Panda Express location in NorthPark. That’s not much of a thank you according to the DMN‘s Lunch Ladies, who recently said they wished they had “never laid eyes nor chopsticks on this food.”

Now personally, I love love love Panda’s orange chicken and would choose it over sushi at Nobu any day. But then again, my idea of fine Mexican is a burrito bowl from Chipotle. So eat at your own risk, Dallas PD. But seriously, thanks. And the next time one of you catches me doing 57 in a 45, just remember that I think you’re worth more than $7.
