In case you hadn’t heard, the Dallas Cowboys released kicker Jose Cortez. Now, I was on a plane during game time, but I’ve read the paper and watched SportsCenter and listened to The Ticket. Seems to me, Cortez wasn’t the problem. He might have been a problem, but not the problem. Bledsoe’s interception with :11 left was troubling. The fact that the offense sputtered in the red zone wasn’t good. And conservative play calling, as always, might be deemed unwise in retrospect.
