You Won’t Want to Miss: Buena Vista Park, Dolores Park, Haight-Ashbury (shopping and drinks), Mission District (shopping, walking, eating), Fisherman’s Wharf, a trolley ride, Golden Gate Park, and Paxton Gate (a great shop in the Mission District).
Eat Here: Flour+Water (expect a long wait, homemade everything, best Italian food). Pizzeria Delfina, Ike’s Place (awesome sandwiches), Boogaloos (brunch), Sears Fine Food (brunch), Scomas (Fisherman’s Wharf, with clam chowder to die for).
Play Here: Homestead (great neighborhood bar), Dolores Park, Haight-Ashbury (shopping, bars), and Mission District (shopping, bars).
If I Went Again: I’d visit Sausalito.
