Erin Duvall and Molly Duvall Thomas, the local pair behind the popular Instagram account Sisters of Red, are taking their lifestyle brand offline this week. The sisters teamed up with Camila Alves McConaughey to host their first fundraiser in Dallas on Tuesday, a three-part event that benefits McConaughey’s Just Keep Livin Foundation and local non-profit Child Poverty Action Lab.

For the Duvalls, it’s a way to connect with their audience in real life while joining forces with another female-run outlet, McConaughey’s Women of Today, and supporting a cause that’s close to their hearts.

Just Keep Livin Foundation was founded by Matthew and Camila McCounaughey to empower underprivileged high school students by teaching them about the connection between the body and the mind through fitness, nutrition, wellness, and community service. The Child Poverty Action Lab, or CPAL, is the second beneficiary of the evening. It shares a focus in caring for at-risk youth and using data and analytics to identify ways that its public and nonprofit partners can impact the poverty rate in Dallas.

“They are such a unique organization, because they look at all the statistics in Dallas and what the major problems are regarding hunger…and what we can do as a community to kick that,” says Molly.

With all three hosts being mothers, using the event to help children in need was a no-brainer.

The money raised for CPAL will be used specifically for the DISD’s spring break meal program. Many students in the district rely on their school for breakfast and lunch; the DISD program ensures that they are fed regular meals during school breaks.

“We were very specific in the fact that we wanted to know exactly where our dollars are going and we really wanted to address the child hunger issue, because it’s really important to us,” Molly adds.

Aside from the fundraising aspect, the Sisters of Red and Women of Today collaboration should be fun for anyone who’s into food, music, and all things lifestyle. The day starts with a panel discussion with Meredith Land, food blogger Alex Snodgrass of The Defined Dish, Molly and Erin Duvall, and Camila McConaughey. In the evening, there will be dinner hosted at Le Bilboquet followed by an after-party at Up on Knox. Tickets start at $150 and can be purchased here
