Dallas Yoga and Meditation Events to Clear Your Head This Holiday Season

From Vino and Vinyasa to a "MistleFlow."

Between dealing with family and scrambling for last minute gifts, the holidays can be your most stressful time of the year. In between frantic trips to NorthPark, book one of these Dallas-based yoga studios to decompress.

 

Goat Yoga Richardson

  • Coffee, Cocoa, and Goat Yoga (Various Dates): What better way to de-stress than cuddling with mini goats? Meet the newest additions (Tommy, Drake and Gary) and sip on some coffee and cocoa. ($17)

Dallas Yoga Center

  • Mindfulness Meditation (Dec. 14, 7pm): This class explores how to become less reactionary in the face of challenging situations over the holidays. Afterwards, sweet holiday treats and savory snacks will be provided.
  • Vinyasa Mixed Levels (Dec. 15, 4:30pm): The class will be focused on light and have Hanukkah-inspired poses.
  • Vinyasa Mixed Levels (Dec. 22, 4:30pm): This fun evening features a Christmas music playlist and festive poses.

(All Dallas Yoga Center classes are free for members or $20 for drop ins.+

 

Deep Ellum Yoga

  • MistleFLOW (Dec. 14, 7:30pm): Up your yoga game (literally) at the GeO-Deck of  Reunion Tower. After an hour-long Vinyasa class, enjoy some down time to sip and mingle while enjoying the photobooth. ($36 and BYOM [bring your own mat])

 

Yoga Pod

  • Vino and Vinyasa (Dec. 15, 7pm): Tour the new studio in Victory Park, enter a raffle for a month of free yoga, shop lululemon, and sip some free vino! (Free) 

 

Sync Dallas

  • Live Kundalini Class (Dec. 15, 7-8:30pm): This practice helps to “balance the glandular system, strengthen the nervous system, expand lung capacity, and purify the blood,” according to Sync Yoga’s Christy Nielson. It’s accompanied by live flutes, percussion, and guitar. ($20 in advance, $25 at the door)

 

Goodwork

  • Trap Yoga Party (Dec. 16, 11am): Join Karla Huffman and DJ Christy Ray in adding some energy to your weekend yoga ritual. After class, enjoy a one-hour party with Substance Juice providing treats for purchase. ($12)

 

Good Vibes Gratitude Meditation

  • Guided Gratitude Meditation (Dec. 19, 8am; I Love Juice Bar): Join Brittany Madrid for a 30-minute guided meditation followed by a rejuvenating lemon + cayenne + ginger shot. Guests are encouraged to bring a journal or something to write in. ($10)

 

Super Yoga Palace

  • Restorative + Sound Bath (Dec. 24, 31): Recalibrate and rebalance courtesy of this class’  restorative soundtrack and poses. ($18)

 

City Yoga Dallas

  • Pink Floyd Christmas (Dec. 25, 2pm): Celebrate the holiday with a candlelight flow set to Pink Floyd tunes. Score a free class by donating to City Yoga’s toy drive.

 

The Yoga Factory

  • New Years Eve Party Flow (Dec. 31, 10:30pm): Decked out with party favors and glow in the dark accoutrements, this class end with a champagne toast at midnight to ring in the New Year. ($20)
