What are you doing this weekend? Or for the rest of March? Do you have plans? I mean, you probably do. This weather is sort of decent. But in between all your cool, outdoors-when-it’s-not-raining plans, maybe make some time to do a little shopping. Because this shopping won’t be your average, run-of-the-mill shopping. It’s not shopping you can do any old time you choose. Oh no, this is limited-edition Dallas shopping. Some of it is only available for a day!

Let’s get into it.

Local | Saturday, 9am – 1pm

The last time we saw Highland Park Village’s lovely Local market, it was festive nighttime affair just before the holidays. This Saturday marks the return of the chic outdoor market, complete with live music, amazing local artisans, and savory breakfast items (save room for tamales). If you have little ones in tow, there are plenty of activities to keep them occupied while you shop.

Globe-trotting Dallas design doyenne Michelle Nussbaumer has brought her beautiful, color-filled book, Wanderlust: Interiors That Bring the World Home, to life at Forty Five Ten on Main. The pop-up, which will be open through June, features globally-sourced pieces, including tribal and ikat textiles and creations by Afghan dyers and weavers in Africa. Fabrics inspired by her grandmother’s leopard coat or her mother’s Pucci-esque sundress add a personal touch from the Ceylon et Cie owner.

What Goes Around Comes Around Pop-Up | Begins Wednesday, March 28

What Goes Around Comes Around, a New York-based luxury vintage retailer with stores in SoHo, Beverly Hills, the Hamptons, and Miami, is hosting a pop-up in Highland Park Village’s multi-brand boutique Market. Expect plenty of vintage Chanel, Hermés, Balenciaga, and Gucci, along with (hopefully!) some classic rock tees. “Dallas is one the top luxury markets in the country,” says Seth Weisser, cofounder of What Goes Around Comes Around. “Highland Park Village is the top destination for Dallas clientele, with Market being a key retailer for What Goes Around Comes Around.”

Be the first to shop the luxe pop-up by getting your RSVP in (to [email protected]) for the kick-off event, which takes place on Wednesday from noon to 2pm.
