One of the many new and exciting events put on my D Magazine this year is the D Art Slam, May 29-31, 2009, at f.i.g. Local artists can show and sell their art to the thousands we expect to attend. So, if you are an artist, how do you participate? It’s easy. You fill out the entry form online. But here’s the official word from our marketing department:
D Magazine and f.i.g. invite you to apply now to exhibit and sell your drawings, paintings, and photography alongside more than 125 other local artists at the first annual D Art Slam at f.i.g.’s light-filled space. This three-day juried event will attract thousands of local art buyers looking to purchase original art for both personal and corporate collections. D Art Slam will also introduce “The New Dallas Nine” art awards. Winners of this award will appear in the pages of D Magazine.
