Move Over Creme de la Mer, There’s a New Kid in Town

For years I’ve read about all the celebrities using Creme de la Mer faithfully. I hear JLo slathers it on her entire body. At $130 for a 1 oz. jar (at Neiman Marcus) I can’t say I will ever be able to do that, but I have had the opportunity to try the “miracle” cream and well, me likey. Me likey a lot. Too bad I can’t afford to see what kind of difference it would make on me over the next 30 years but I can just keep an eye on JLo for that. However, if you are one of those able to splurge on Creme de la Mer, and if you live in a hot climate (hello, Dallas!), then I have an even better product for you. Don’t fret though, it still comes from La Mer, it’s just a lighter version of the classic Creme. It’s called The Moisturizing Gel Cream and having tried it myself I have to say I almost like it better than the original because it seems to just melt into my skin. It’s got all the same fancy ingredients as the original and the cost is comparable. So save your pennies and go splurge. Or just watch how it works on JLo, like I will.
