Discovering Philosophy

Until today, I thought I was well acquainted with bath and beauty brand Philosophy. Like most Sephora addicts, when I visit the store I always make a sweep past Philosophy’s section of cutely packaged products. Turns out I really had only a passing knowledge of the company and its offerings. But a breakfast meeting this morning with a couple of Philosophy reps changed all that. The brand does everything from fragrances to skincare to cosmetics, and I tried everything I could get my hands on. Most memorable was the Oxygen Peel, an at-home skin-rejuvenation system that brought immediate results, and a line called Baby Grace that had all the girls in the room ooh-ing and ahh-ing. I got some take-home goodies, too, so I’ll be sure to try those out and report back on my Philosophy homework. In the meantime, check out this new limited-edition line of soda-shop-inspired bath goods and lip shines. I got a whiff of the three-in-one shampoo, shower gel, and bubble baths this morning, and I can attest that the scents are right on. I’m not a huge fan of food-themed beauty products, but if you’ve ever felt like you wanted to take a dip in a Cherry Coke, this one’s for you.
