The ginger beer makes it a mule. The Russian Standard vodka provokes traditional Moscow. Lime juice and a copper mug complete the established elements. But Thompson adds a twist of Texas to his version. He muddles fresh jalapeños and mint leaves in the bottom of the mug and tops it with the refreshing ingredients. Watch out, this mule kicks.
