THUMB AWARD DALLAS’ NEW WONDER “Y”

|

Thumbs Up to the YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas for managing to build one of the most complete fitness centers in the country in downtown Dallas. Metro President Jack Davis attributes the ease of the new Y’s success to the dedication of committee members who thoroughly studied scores of fitness facilities all over the country before deciding what to build here. Now groups from Washington D. C., Atlanta, Rio de Janeiro, Minneapolis and Houston have come to Dallas to study our facility. The downtown Y is among a relative few to have Nautilus, Cam II and Universal equipment in addition to two tracks and an Olympic-size pool. And what makes the Y particularly nice is the friendliness of the people working there (sounds corny, but it’s true), right down to the folks who distribute towels.
