If we were single, this would be our general game plan: Outfit our home to look like a villa in the Italian countryside, exclusively don belted midi dresses, and do our best Diana-Lane-circa-early-aughts impression in hopes that it was enough to manifest a hunky Italian beau, à la 2003’s Under the Tuscan Sun, with whom we would have a brief but memorable love affair. Local home stores and showrooms can’t help you with the last bits, but they can supply you with wrought-iron bistro sets, woven furnishings, and other rustic accents evocative of the rolling hills and romantic allure of Tuscany. Surely a meet-cute worthy of a big-screen rom-com can’t be far away?
