Welcome to our new summer series, Laps of Luxury. Each week, we’ll introduce you to a home on the market that boasts a beautifully over-the-top pool.

Today’s featured pool is tucked behind 5315 Ursula Lane, a sprawling estate in Preston Hollow.

This 8,000-square-foot home was built for those who love to host. There’s a wet bar, a wine cellar, a chef’s kitchen, and multiple dining rooms. Most importantly, there’s a killer backyard.

The home sits on over an acre of land, and its backyard is a massive, verdant oasis. A rolling green lawn stretches across the property; lushly landscaped trees and hedges line its perimeter. An outdoor lounge space features a shaded roof and overhead fan for hot Texas summers, while the stone fireplace can provide warmth on chillier evenings. There are several other spaces to unwind, from a casual dining table to a row of lounge chairs.

The true star of the show, of course, is the heated saltwater pool. This isn’t your typical residential pool; this one feels more like a fountain, thanks to the arcs of water that bounce across its surface. Its sophisticated stone border complements the home’s flagstone patios. Look closely to spot the jacuzzi–it’s level with the ground at the west end of the pool. The opposite end is flanked with gas-powered urns on pedestals. As night falls and the sun slips away, their flames bathe the pool in a glowing light.

Take a full tour of the pool with the gallery below.

5315 Ursula Lane is listed by Courtney Jubinsky and Ryan Streiff at Dave Perry-Miller and is on the market for $3,250,000.
