Hot Property: Park-Like Property on Bluffview Boulevard

Recently, I spoke to a local architect who pointed out a failure of many beautiful new homes. So often, builders create lovely patios and terraces, but the view from them is lacking. You might find yourself looking at an iffy alleyway, or a home with a completely different architectural style. You may even end up looking directly into someone else’s kitchen while drinking your morning coffee, which—while innocently voyeuristic—isn’t ideal.

It’s not the house’s fault, of course. It’s the curse of a small Dallas lot—a curse that 4603 Bluffview Boulevard expertly avoids. Its neighborhood helps. Formerly a dairy farm pasture, Bluffview is blessed with natural beauty and shady, winding streets that really do sit on an actual bluff. Award-winning architects Bodron + Fruit, known for remodeling architectural gems, are also to credit for the modern home’s thoughtful direction and practically park-like setting, which can be enjoyed from the many steel-framed glass walls.

The interior is equally striking. You’ll wonder why anyone would ever do anything but teak and white marble in a kitchen after you take a virtual tour. But for all the home’s high-end finishes, smart home automation, and well-placed skylights, 4603 Bluffview will always be about those views.
