Hot Property: A Zen East Kessler Getaway

There’s a first time for everything. Today was the first time I used “Zen” in the headline for a “Hot Property.” But this house is truly way zen. From the front lawn’s optical illusion-y water features to the teak-floored shower, every inch of the home seems designed to calm. Even the floor-to-ceiling granite slab surrounding the wood burning fireplace could likely soothe your soul.

But 731 Rainbow Drive’s main attraction—its real den of zen—is the thoughtfully landscaped backyard.  Crushed stone walkways, rain chains, specimen trees, and night lighting create a tranquil outdoor oasis, with enough foliage to keep your space truly private.

There are other highlights to mention, of course. Handsome dark wood built-ins and sleek, floating cabinets take over plenty of wallspace inside. The master bath, with that teak-floored shower, is reminiscent of the Equinox locker room (all that’s missing is Kiehl’s). Plus, its East Kessler location would place a homeowner just under a mile from Sylvan | Thirty and W. Davis shops such as Set & Co. and DLM Supply. Surely that would inspire peace of mind.
