The next month will see some changes in Highland Park Village, West Village, and the more charming streets of Uptown. Here’s what you need to know so you can shop accordingly.
L. Bartlett
College girl favorite L. Bartlett is saying goodbye after years in West Village. Back in 2012, the contemporary clothes and jewelry boutique expanded to make room for their collection of shoes. To prepare for their move to Snider Plaza (SMU girls, rejoice!), the entire store is on sale, with select styles up to 70 percent off.
The Loveliest
Let’s all take a moment to appreciate the pink door and agave plants that punctuated what is surely the most charming facade in Uptown (maybe there’s a tie with Blue Print). Yes, The Loveliest is moving on (hopefully whoever moves in has a thing for front yard succulents), and though the destination is TBD, the owners have confirmed that the new space will make room for the production of their own line of product, which will feature table linens, pillows, and baby accessories.
The Loveliest will be around for another month though, and discounting everything in the store at 30 percent off. Stop by this Saturday to treat yourself to something pretty.

Ellis Hill
After two charming locations in Highland Park Village (including a stunning remodel of the former Celebrity Bakery space), Ellis Hill is heading to mingle with a bevy of bungalows-turned-boutiques (think Madre, Canary, and Cabana) on West Lovers Lane. After they set up shop in the former Lovers Lane Antique Market space, keep an eye out for an announcement about a perfectly fitting collab with The Loveliest.
