Westover Hills’ zip code may be a physical far cry from Highland Park’s 75205, but with its scenic locale and a population with one of the highest household incomes in Texas, the Fort Worth suburb is home to some of the most stunning estates in the area.

There’s this example with a crazy beautiful library (you need to get your eyes on that thing), but that’s not the one we’re focusing on today. This morning, we zeroing in on 5849 Merrymount Road, a completely updated 1950 home that will make you believe in the power of a good awning.

The wallpaper wows as well. From the master bedroom’s moody accent wall to bright, mosaic-like paper in the kitchen, the well-placed wallcoverings work in every setting.

There are other things to note, of course. The built-ins are insane and the landscaping is lovely, particularly when you take in the ancient, sprawling oak tree. But the master suite amenities, which include a gorgeous marble finish out, steam shower, and stunning walk-in closet, could convince anyone to move to Fort Worth.
