Just because it’s called a “bookshelf” doesn’t mean that this space can only house books. Our shelves at home are filled with knickknacks, baubles, family photos, and the occasional succulent. Here’s a list of where you can find all sorts of cool things to fill yours.

  1. Blue Print. Hello, Partners Card! Stop by this week for 20% off everything in the shop.
  2. Nest. If your style is little more eccentric, then Nest is a go-to. Gilded robots, light up letters, and plenty of unique candles are just a few of the things you’ll fall in love with. Bonus: Nest is also on Partners Card!
  3. WisteriaIf you’re on the hunt for an Asian-inspired white-and-blue pots, geode bookends, and plenty of picture frames for your bookshelf, and only have time to stop at one shop, go here.
  4. Chapter Two. Okay, so your book shelf does need a few books. Stop by this Highland Park Village shop for lots of pretty tomes on a variety of subjects. (To see our list of the best places to buy coffee table books, click here.)

Need some tips on where to start when it comes to stocking your shelves (or how to organize them)? Check out this story from our March/April 2014 issue for a little inspiration.
