Fresh Cut December
Orange tulips, white ranunculus, peach amaryllis, and white peonies are some of Cebolla’s favorite flowers for December.

Me, myself, and I have a weekly tradition.

Every Sunday, I mosey on over to a floral shop and pick out some flowers to decorate my apartment with. I’m always looking to see what’s new and in season, because it not only guarantees I’ll be getting the freshest flowers out there, but that the booms will be budget friendly.

Wondering what’s in season for the holidays? Don’t worry, I already did all the digging for you, and am here to report back — that way you won’t be stuck decorating your home with poinsettias again this year.

December’s floral guidance comes from Cebolla Fine Flowers. Their suggestions for this month include tulips, ranunculus, amaryllis, and peonies, all pictured above. They’ve also got paper whites, which are my go-to hostess gift (the blooms are small but mighty when it comes to fragrance), and a variety of other types of tulips, including French, fringe, and parrot.

What are your favorite seasonal flowers to decorate with?
