For the second year in a row, our very own Peggy Levinson demonstrates her unerring eye as one of the judges in the  Dallas area Habitat for Humanity Design Duel 2012. The Design Duel matches designers from two Dallas firms, Breck Woolsey of Breckinridge Taylor and Carolina V. Gentry of Pulp Design Studios, with two homeowners in need of a makeover.

Here’s the lowdown. Now through September 14, local homeowners can enter for a chance to win a makeover of their living/dining area. Judges will select five semi-finalists, and their will be posted to designduel.org on September 28, where consumers will have one week to vote for the two finalists most deserving of a redesign.

Once the finalists are determined, they’ll be matched with Breck or Carolina who will helm the redesigns using only items from Dallas area Habitat ReStores, a $3,000 budget, and a three-week time limit.

Given the immense talent of these two (behold Breck’s handiwork above) you can expect some major magic.
