In the July/August issue of D Home, which is on newsstands now, we visit a Fort Worth home that is filled with art and style and a huge English Mastiff named Augustus. It’s a beautiful place with lots of eye-catching accents, but the baby’s room is so unexpected, so well done that I’m proclaiming it my favorite place in the house. The wall-size mural of ladies lounging by a pool in Palm Springs comes from a UK-based website called Surface View. Designer Leigh Taylor says the mural is ready to roll, and you just hang it like wallpaper. This image, called “Poolside Gossip,” is one of hundreds to choose from.
