Medical City Doc Gets National Osteopathic Medicine Award

Matthew Brandon Barker has been named the 2018 Outstanding OMM Resident of the Year by the American Osteopathic Foundation.

The Medical City Forth Worth resident receives the award for his “exemplary work, demonstrated leadership, and steadfast clinical performance.”

Barker is specializing in combined family medicine and osteopathic neuromusculoskeletal medicine. He got a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California.

He’s set to finish up residency in June 2019.
