Texas Health Alliance Designated as Level IV Trauma Center

|

The Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Alliance increased its emergency department from 15 to 44 beds, and earned a Level IV trauma designation.

It now has four trauma rooms, updated telemetry, and switched things around for a better patient flow, Texas Health says. The facility has also added staffing.

Texas Health Alliance serves patients in Northeast Tarrant County. It’s seeing more trauma patients this year so far—about 57 per month compared to 48 a month last year.

“This is an exciting time for Texas Health Alliance,” says Clint Abernathy, president of Texas Health Alliance, in a statement. “We are growing to meet the needs of the North Fort Worth community.”
