Baylor Health Care has extended the Baylor Charles A. Sammons name to six cancer treatment facilities in its system. Its Dallas cancer center already carried the brand.
According to Baylor, the move is part of an initiative to bring quality clinical care and leading-edge technology closer to patients across Dallas-Fort Worth.
“We are very excited about growing together to bring the best possible cancer care to the citizens of North Texas and beyond,” said Dr. Alan Miller, director of the Charles A. Sammons Cancer Center at Dallas and chief of oncology for Baylor Health Care System, in a statement.
Seven Baylor Health Care System facilities now carry the Sammons Cancer Center name, with two more expected in a few years:
• Baylor Charles A. Sammons Cancer Center at Dallas
• Baylor Charles A. Sammons Cancer Center at Fort Worth
• Baylor Charles A. Sammons Cancer Center at Irving
• Baylor Charles A. Sammons Cancer Center at Garland
• Baylor Charles A. Sammons Cancer Center at Grapevine
• Baylor Charles A. Sammons Cancer Center at Plano
• Baylor Charles A. Sammons Cancer Center at Waxahachie
