So find a new way home. From the city:

“The Houston Street Viaduct will be closed from 12:00 a.m., Monday, March 11, 2013 through fall 2014. The closure will extend from Young Street/Reunion Boulevard in downtown Dallas to Zang Boulevard in Oak Cliff. The purpose of the closure is for the construction of the new streetcar line connecting Downtown Dallas and Oak Cliff. The traveling public is asked to use the Jefferson Boulevard viaduct as a detour route during the closure of the Houston Street viaduct. To enter downtown Dallas from Oak Cliff use Colorado Blvd. to Marsalis Street to access the Jefferson Boulevard viaduct.”

See you in hell, traffic engineers.
