WFAA’s anchor desk is beginning to look like A Pea in the Pod fashion spread. Morning co-anchor Cynthia Izaguirre no sooner returned Monday from the April birth of her twins than her “fill-in,” Alexa Conomos, departed for maternity leave.
Then last night, early-evening co-anchor Shelly Slater, who just a couple of weeks ago wowed the Top Hat & Tails crowd with an OMG tango, announced that she’s expecting a baby in December.
