What To Do Tonight: June 2, 2010

|

caricatureFor something different, head to the Granada Theatre for tonight’s Ignite Dallas event. 20 creative types are given five minutes and 20 slides to say whatever they want. Topics that will be covered tonight: pole dancing, librarianship in the 21st century, tacos, LOST, and managing your online reputation (note to self: pay special attention here). Tickets are $20 and include a drink. Something called “clean up” happens at 10:30, so you might want to skip out before that.

A good place to stop before the Granada is Gloria’s on Greenville. The patio might make you sweaty, but there’s plenty of room inside, and cheap drinks are everywhere. $3 margaritas, sangria, mojitos, domestics, and more. Oh–and they also give you chips and that delish bean dip for free, so fill up on that and you won’t have to eat dinner until at least midnight.
